Prepaid Cards make sense abroad

Pre-paid credit cards are a great way to manage your holiday money.
An article published in The Wall Street Journal India examines the pros of using the cards abroad.

They often work out cheaper.

You can load money onto it with the currency of the destination you are travelling to which means you can avoid a conversion fee every time you make a purchase.

Any fees incurred often work out cheaper than those for on standard credit or debit cards.

Cards offered by the likes of Visa are accepted everywhere and are swiped in the same way as a credit or debit card.
