Vilaiyattup Ponnu

Vilaiyattup Ponnu is the story of three protagonists Manu, Uma and Christy. Manu is a writer and one takes Christy as a refuge in his house. Christy is a drug addict, Manu tries to cure her of this habbit. Manu lives alone while his wife Uma is in Chennai. Christy and Manu strikes up a friendship which has sexual overtones to it. Uma is shattered when she realizes that her husband is having an affair with Christy. Uma is sad to know that she is not able to fulfill her husband's sexual needs. The movie talks about infidelity. Manu knows that he is wrong but he can't get rid of Christy because of his sexual needs. Uma on the other hand craves for Manu's presence and dies in a accident.
