Truck stops! A lot of truck stops have excellently appointed private restrooms with great showers.

Just curious why you switched to Internaltional over a new 387 or kenworth T700 twin? I agree with the pete 379, they are tiny inside and outdated. They look great, but to live in one is a different story.

@bretstep T700 is just a tarted up T2000 and the 387 is nothing more than a T2000 posing as a Peterbilt. The 387 is a great looking rig, but its a rattle trap with issues. I spend a month at a time in my truck and the last thing I want is an uncomfortable truck. Everything rattled, squeeked and cracked in the truck and sound insulation was never an option. I had electrical gremlins up the ass, and the overly excessive bumpy ride was getting old quick.

The ProStar is a the total opposite.

@MisterFlaherty My interior? Not a single squeak. Leaks? It's the midroof, last i heard, the condo sleepers leak. My clutch doesn't rattle. Why would it? How are you accusing my truck of these traits based on someone else's truck? 275,000 miles as of now and it rides like the day I got it. That pos 387 was a real rattle trap.

To hell with Internationals. Mechanic told me they used to be good but they suck now. I'll take the Peterbuilt anyday.

I just got out of a 2009 pro star,,it was the biggest piece of crap i ever drove.interior noise was awful,doors flapped in the wind(and i mean literally,lol)windows leaked,cabinets rattled,couldnt keep steers on it altho it had been lined up 3 times,a/c sucked,,i could go on,,

@CACressida I have tried them, that's why I'm knocking them. The electricals are a pain to live with.

@CACressida That totally surprises me. I know the T2000 and 387 share a lot of parts and the new T700 is a T2000 with a reworked front clip, but I would have never thought they were rattle traps and have so many issues. To me, international was always more of a generic vocational truck from the all the dumps and buses I have driven. What year was your 387? I can understand some problems with early versions of a design when they come out for the first few years.
