they are in lakes when theyre warm

Just got back from family cottage on west side of state in Michigan and our lake this year was filled with these little Monsters. Haven't seen the little beasts in 6 years. My son brought some back in jars and our neighbor which has been living on our lake for years said they were fake! August 2010.

Thanks. I seen one at a small gravel pit in michigan years ago. Now I know I'm not crazy...at least not for seeing a jelly fish.

the creepiest thing i was scuba diving in m pond and i was 20 feet under got pitch black so me and my freind went back in to shore under water and all of a sudden this jelly fish went right by my face

This is so cool. I typed in freshwater jellyfish because about 10-15yrs ago I remember seeing these little jellyfish about the size of contact lenses in my favorite swimming pond. The first video to come up was a jellyfish from Spring Mill Pond in Michigan. My favorite place to swim growing up. Once caught a snapper there on a free dive. It's head was bigger than my fist.
