Serenity Riggs' family was among those forced to evacuate because a wildfire is threatening the mountain community of Crown King. Some folks left with only the clothes on their back, but remain optimistic.SOT: " You got your health, you're alive, your pets are ok being taken care of at the shelter." Danny Stranger/ Evacuee Crews have been battling the flames since the fire broke out late Saturday. But firefighters still have not been able to control the flames So far, more than 53-hundred acres in the rugged mountains in the region have been charred... and three homes have been destroyed. About 120 residents voluntarily evacuated their homes Sunday.
