You will find God where ever you look, even on YouTube for God is everything and everywhere. Yes we have been taught to seek God outside of us. But the most wonderful manifestation of God is within us. Let me recommend a book to you called, "Your Sacred Self," by Wayne Dyer.
He says in all of us there is a witness or observer that remains untouched by all we experience.... That presence at the center is where we find God. The voices we here in the head our own reasoning is ego.

I created the book...that's cool. Yes, practice what I preach. Easier to talk about this life; to live it is the journey. Before you know it you've mastered something then the next lesson's already here.
I'm not old, I know; I'm thinking when I said that "I'm suppose to feel or be old now" cause I have a grandson~Love you Kev.

Check this out. Love is selfless, greed hate and negative energies are selfish. Peoples judgments are more about themselves than they are about us. Keep being yourself. Peace, and love to you!!! Keep on shining bright.

I don't think I'll find God on YouTube either. A very good friend of mine says that we need to stop looking outside ourselves for God. I have a question though: what if you've NEVER felt god? then what? am I that lone weirdo that has never felt the presence of god? I've tried believing, but while I found it to be easy to have an imagination as a young child, I never could wrap my mind around some omnipresent deity that cared for me and everybody else, considering how screwing the world was.

Take this:
Surrender as much of yourself as you can, to as much of God as you understand.
In doing this day to day, moment to moment, and situation to situation you will find yourself developing an awareness of Presence. Talk to God/Source/Presence or whatever you choose to call it Creator....like you'd talk to a friend, casually and sincerely.
You don't have to cast yourself to the ground and lament for days and hours. Keep it simple. Find quiet times to spend developing this relationship.

I don't know, people. I've read many books. People write many books, but they are writing on their experiences. Yes, I know that that may sound foolish for me to say, but my point is that I don't believe that I'm going to find God or what have you in a book. I've been searching for a long time. I've given up.
I feel you sis when you say you don't think our purpose is just to get back 'up there'...why would we be here if that's the case?

I just finished writing my first book. I can honestly say that it was written under inspiration. I am also a musician. At times writing words and thoughts would come to me from Spirit. Of course my book is spiritual in nature.
During editing a couple of time I'd read something and it would really help me past something I was dealing with; and I say "I wrote that, wow." Being open to God is something I've always done; I've never assumed it came easy for everyone.
"I don't believe, I give up.

Now that you have given up you are ready to receive. What you seek is seeking you.
It is in the air you breathe, the water you drink, God is the tree and the morning breeze. The mother and father you seek. God is everything, and everything is God.
It is impossible for you to be separated from God/Source/Light/Love/Purpose...whatever you choose to call it/him/her.
It is your journey, each man walks with God alone.
