@mikeman9412 According to American Primitive Volume 2 liner notes (which is very highly recommended to anyone who even vaguely likes this song) Geeshie played guitar and Elvie sang 2nd vocal on a couple songs of Geeshie's but not this one. I regard this as an extremely reliable source; the sort of folks who used to drive around buying old 78s in the 60s. Geeshie only recorded a handful of tunes, as did Sister O.M. Terrell (mentioned by another viewer). Most are easily found on comps. Buy them!
