@SOMEADATT I am pretty up on the funk history but that is a little part I did not know. I've been following them since the 1970's. My first show was 1977 which was the Funkentelechy tour. My favorite tour was the Funkadelic "antitour" in 1979. Saw them play at homecoming at NC A & T with the Brides. First time I saw Blackbyrd McKnight. Got to meet the band then. I always liked their accessibility. They will miss Garry Shider big time.

@SOMEADATT I bet. Cleveland would be a good place to see them. I think Michael Hampton is originally from Cleveland.

@homicidelab No doubt and I really never saw "Funkadelic" play it until this performance with Kendra Foster as an opening act.
