    My former bandmate, Eddie Stair, formerly of Wilmington, DE, WROTE this song -- and it was stolen from him. It originally was an instrumental called "Castaway." He sent a demo tape to a record company, and never heard back. Months later, the record "Liar, Liar" comes out -- to the same exact tune -- by a group called "The Castaways." Eddie had not copyrighted the song, and he got ripped off royal. Stair is now a marketing exec with Nike on the West Coast, or was the last time I heard about him.
