A Copperhead being engulfed by a King snake. Towards the end the video is at 2x speed. After 40 minutes the King withdrew into the ivy to finish him up; its the Copperhead's tail you see. This is a reason you keep good snakes around, they eat the baddies. The video was taken by Fred Huff.
I was there that day as Fred Filmed..this was 20 paces from his front door & he goes barefoot ALOT.

Had a pet wild-caught southern king in college...she was very smart, and quite adept at getting out of her tank. More than once I came home to find her waiting at the door...and once in the bathroom...that was QUITE unsettling in the middle of the night.
