I have a GS Eclipse, and I find it to be a nice little sports car. I had it topped out at 135 ish mph the other day. I am thinking about trading it in for a Subaru WRX here before winter.

I have a 2009 eclipse GT (automatic premium) and im loving it. Once i saw it i had to have it! The price of this car was 7600 KD (kuwaiti dinars) which for me is really really good. The 350z is 12000 KD and had the same options except it has 309HP compared to 280HP of the eclipse! Yes 280HP not 265HP, thats what is advertised here in the mid east.
Now ive raced with 350z's and they are only marginally faster.
People have there opinions but i see the eclipse as a great car for its value.

wow this review sucks
it contradicts all the creditable reviewers
ie. car and driver, motorweek, my ride, ect.
id prefer this car to and other sporty car
ie. celica, tc, civic, and even an rx8

Amazingly awful! Just drive this back to back with ANY other import and you will throw rocks at this thing.
I just inherited one. HORRIBLE WIND AND ROAD NOISE.
CHEAP ass doors that sound so hollow & tinny when shut.
CHEAP plastic everywhere inside.
CLUNKS LIKE HELL in th rear over bumps.
Car is HEAVY as a cargo ship. (Feels like driving a town car)
HORRIBLE blind spots in back AND front.
Mitsubishi is utter junk!

i agree for sure... they basically berate it the whole time while other, RELIABLE auto reviews give it good and fair criticism. they were not objective at all

Mitsu lost it in the early 2000 with the body style with the ribs in it, it was so damn ugly. I miss the late 90s models so much, they were the best. They are a dying brand now, only the Evo has anything decent now.

This, i have to be honest, is a very confusing review. It opens up with an intro of an individual passing on postive remarks, followed by a barage of criticism which would indict a strong disapproval of the car's design (including citing other faulty Mitsubishi reliability issues and handling faults).
I don't really know whether you're recommending potential buyers take a look, or discouraging potential buyers from even looking at it.

I LOVE this carr!!!!! And yes, it is the 2008. the 2009 has a black grille. I plan on getting one in the next year. Unfortunately my mom said I have to pay for it with my own money. So I have to get a job.
