http://agewiseliving.com/dementia-caregiver-support.htm Are You Seeing Symptoms of Dementia in Your Elderly Loved One? Or in yourself as you struggle to understand and help them? Is it breaking your heart? Age Dementia Symptoms Can Sneak Up on You!

Its especially frustrating in the beginning. You might not be sure of what you are seeing in your family member. Your loved ones can seem to grasp what you say only to have no recollection of the conversation the next day . . . or 5 minutes later!

Other Typical Dementia Symptoms and Signs to Look for Are:
1. A tendency to repeat oneself
2. The inability to learn new things or a marked resistance to the idea of learning new things
3. Frequent confusion and a significant degree of forgetfulness and misplacing things
4. Marked changes in personality
5. A noticeable decreasing in social contact
6. Increased restlessness

  • ive cared for disabled and ill people since i was 14ys old and nothing more than i rather do.

i respect others. and i never did need any support with my emotions. im guess im a very very strong woman. and provider to all who needs assisting . no illness is to much for me to deal with. most people arent strong to handle the stress. so they look for attention for them selves..
