  • She's a very pretty little girl Andy. Glad everything worked out for her.

  • Thanks guys :)

  • Andy, thankyou so much for sharing this heartfelt story with all of us. When it's time to step up to the plate as they say, it's amazing how strong our batting arm becomes. hugs, Chris

  • Thanks Chris.

Yes, that inner strength is something i didn't realise i had, but i'm glad i found.

I think it's in all of us if we need it :)

  • HAHAH the only real adversity I've had in my life is here on YouTube. Go figure. :)

  • Virtual adversity can be just as bad as 'real' adversity Tim, as i'm sure you're aware. Hopefully your time here has made you a stronger person :)

  • Strange as it may seem. I think we coped better than some of our families. We were so tied up in what was going on, we didn't always have an opportunity to think about it too much. Also we still had our son to consider. Which helped to focus our minds on something else :)

  • Luckily we only found out about those 10 minutes, after they happened. But, it's probably the longest night i've ever spent. These things always seem to happen in the middle of night don't they?

Was the skydiving a reaction to the death of your mother, do you think? :)

  • Thanks mate. She still has to have regular check-ups etc. But that's for monitoring purposes as much as anything :)

  • You seem to have had a similar experience to mine. In so much as you started to adapt to what was going on around you, without maybe realising it.

As you say, that experience has helped you in your future life. Some good can come out of bad times :)

  • Thanks Ken. After the experience was over, i wrote a little piece for a charity telling our story. In that i said that these events are things that are supposed to happen to other people, not us :)

  • Thanks Lesley. It's amazing & very sad, how many people have their own story to tell.

I agree that these experiences make us who we are & help mould us. As you say, we do have a choice. You, like me, chose to use that experience to make us a better & stronger person :)
