@wbges175 These guitars play like butter.This exact year and model was the first guitar I ever touched and played,given to me by my dad in about '79 when I was nine.....I think.Unfortunately guitars are not cold blooded and it was stored in a crawl space where the outside temp was the same as the guitar.The neck was amazingly straight,believe it or not,but all the inlays on the fret board fell out.I'm just grateful I learned on a top notch instrument.

@wbges175 on gibson website I found the production records, there are serial numbers ... find the exact year of production in the serial ... beautiful guitar it was my luck!

@Beppe4presyd Thanks, I believe its a 1949, original P90 pickup I have changed the frets (higher) which makes it easier for hammer ons and pull offs.
