  • This install is much harder on an 07 CrewMax with rear seat air conditioning. Neither of those bolts are accessible under the center console. So I bolted the SC1 and SCC1 units bottom to bottom with #10 machine screws and then affixed them underneath of the AUX power adapters using double sided molding tape. Also, my truck had no center speaker so I took a piece of 1/8" thick 1/2" wide steel stock from Home Depot and cut it to 5" with a hacksaw

  • Nice workaround macg3. I have the DoubleCab (DC) and was not aware of the duct running through the center console until after I published the video.

  • very good install,I have 08 tundra, will the install be the same? also will radio power the sirius?

  • Yes, it will work on your 08 if you have a SAT button and yes it gets its power from the radio, no extra wires to run.

  • how does the satellite work with it coverd??

  • Can someone describe how the wires were routed through the dash here? I got mine pulled apart and couldn't figure it out. Does it involve removing the knee panel?

    Thanks for the great how-to!

  • wow, verry nice video. thanks alot.

  • @lalvare342000 the plastic thing there is actually a mesh fabric screen, and there is a window directly above it, so i doubt it.

  • @moofaba whoever told you that is full of shit.

  • haha at one 1:46 he was recovering a 10m that he dropp with his magnet

  • The Tundra.... I remember the first time I worked on this car I added rear, front sensors and back up camera. The guy probably drove like an asian guy

  • I just wondering if installing the antenna under the center speaker will reduce reception.?

your feedback it will be appreciated. thanks

  • Wow! I'm impressed. Great Job!!!
