I saw Shawn Phillips in Vancouver in 1972 and loved him before that and still do and always will. He is the best! My friends would always try to remember all the words to his songs and one friend did and does still in Montreal!

Never saw him w/out facial hair!! But I was obcessed w/ his music as soon as I found him! So much I Learned this one~ & It'd definitely him!! WOW!!

Shawn Phillips is truly amazing in his powerful deliverance of his music. His lyrical prowess is unbending and I had the opertunity to see him in concert on May 4th here in mpls, mn at the Guthrie theater, wow, he still has it after all these years. Get to see him again in July in St Cloud on the 30th. His DVD from the 2008 reunion concert held at the MN Zoo titled "Living Collaboration" is out, its a DVD of wonderment and awesomeness, go purchase it, you'll be very pleased indeed.........
