The show could come back as a night time drama and work just as well with the good creepy mysteries and crime procedurals.

Well done. I always loved this show. If Prospect Park is successful with bringing All My Children and One Life To Live to the web, they should definitely try to bring a new version of Edge back as well. It could have a real cult following!

The show should come back in the same vein as "Perry Mason meets Kolchak the Night Stalker" or "Supernatural"(never watched the show, but understand the premise of it). I'm thinking that it'd be more like a thriller as Dark Shadows or True Blood (with or without vampires). When you think "The Edge of Night", you would think of something like "The Twilight Zone" or "The Hitchhiker". This time with some resolution, some completion.

I too watched The Edge Of Night years ago. This opening is awesome, and I think if this show were on today, this would be the kind of opening sequence that would go well with the theme of the show.
