Why is the word pride only racist when its precedded by the word white? "Black Power" isn't even considered racist by most in society but white pride is. That's insanely ridiculous. I'm very familiar that some racists do write "White Pride" on their symbols, but that shouldn't mean that others can't have pride in being Caucasian.

lol way to go. You just replied to a racist remark with another racist remark. Way to prove yourself.

@bassman5123 black power and white pride are both racist...you cannot empower yourself when you exclude another based on something none of you did anything to earn...that is the color of your skin...any of you could have just as easily been born one or the other...life itself is what is important...think of whats meaningful on your death bed...life itself and the experiences we had during our short time on earth...life itself is what we have in common

@bassman5123 white people aren't a minority in this country, though. That's the key. Black Power is kind of racist, but it doesn't have the historical crimes and brutality that White Power (KKK, et al., because that's what White Power means) does.

tom chamber's was exciting!

@wcmaster26 --i agree,,but realistically looking at the subject of basketball,,it is blacks who start the racist ball rolling.

That revers dunk should have been stopped by Magic by cutting Chambers off on the baseline

@jdector53 So you are saying it's ok for one group to hate and not another? Your definition of white pride is incorrect. Those who say "white power" would fit under your definition. White pride or black pride just means you are proud of your heritage. So for you it's obviously hard to figure out.

even if the black panthers were racist, there wouldn't be anything incredible about it

black pride is a statement of self-worth after centuries of dehumanizing treatment. white pride is a statement of superiority, domination, and racial purity.
not hard to figure out.

So smooth and such a great leaper I think he was underrated by most as a dunker. I mean, the guy had Dwight Howard problems, like worrying about hitting his head on the rim.

@tabbrown45 one of the best dunkers all time in the NBA white or black.
Check out my new video clip of Chambers' monster facial on the Houston Rockets in Gm.6 of the 1987 playoffs. Another new clip highlights Chambers' 60-point game in 1990.
