For me one of the many big highlights of the 'Spirit of the moment album' such an inspirational album! When on earth is he going to make another album with his trio? This track in particular for me is a great example of one of his best new compositions. It's so great to hear a classical/swing crossover, such a rarity? Is there any more tracks like this out there?

I was there too. This clip was made in the beginning of the performance when he was working up his energy. A little later he was so wildly hopping from side to side on the stool that the legs broke. He continued totally unfazed. He is a miracle performer on the piano. What a joy to listen to and let yourself be drawn in. You can tell how much he loves it all: the music, the audience. Great jazz, great guy! (They gave him a chair later on) Thanks for posting, lovely memories
