and ben2317, my mom had a blazer. 2000, and it sucked, the fuel filters went so quick in it. it sucked. but so i have to say jimmys are better then a blazer. but CHEVY IS THE BEST THERE IS! :DDD

Thanks it was mine but I got rid of it. It didnt fit my needs... The steering/suspension on it required alot of work and it was very heavy. I already have a heavy offroad rig so decided to sell it and purchase a lighter/smaller rig as my 2ndary trail rig.

well the previous owner had it setup with a nasty big block that was one of the fastest mud racers around. But since then it had the engine replaced with a 350 small block that I have been working on getting back to decent order. I have takened it out once so far and didnt do too well but this weekend should run great with new carb and it no longer has #5 and #7 dist wires swapped.

yup mud run and trails. I have just purchased it and only have had 1 outting with it so far but plan to do another one this weekend

The Blazer/Jimmy are the same dam thing always have been only with a few different things in interior and ectiorio just like the camaros and firbirds especially in the 80's lol just different tail lights and fron clip GMC jimmy and Chevy and saturn and olds and buik and R.I.P. i think chevys are the exact same thing as a gmc

same blue prints just different emblems and couple of other things.

BUT ive heard that GMC vehicles like the sierra and some other vehicles that are have twins that belong to chevy are better because they use lock washers in there engines...

correct me if im wrong but thats what i was told in school....

just one thing Chevy is better than GMC a jimmy is a failed attempt by GMC to create a knock off Blazer. Blazers are the best not jimmys but thaty is pretty cool just wish it was a Blazer and not a jimmy
