How reliable is the K04 on the GTI DSG? I am looking to do the same thing, but I do not want to worry about the DSG breaking now the motor having problems...
Have you had issues with it?

The only difference between turbos is the k04 has a slightly bigger hot side to it can hold more boost to redline

hi guys, i want to know only one thing - what's the difference between K03 and K04 ?
coz i already have laser-cutting flanges for K03 downpipe and i'm worried will it be "BOLT ON"-situation when i change the old kit with the new one ?
pls help !

So let me get this straight. This is a nearly 3 year old mod. Yes when she was first done she was weak. But that is because no body else had done it yet and the tuning was almost non existant.
Back then she was making 185wkw and doing 14.2 on the quater mile. Now 223wkw and doing 13.2 on std all weather tyres.

Too all the guys that say the car is not running correctly.This is the same Z4 M Coupe again.Just my tuning is sorted. car is stronger now took out a C63 AMG the other day :) From 120-245km/h .If it means anything to anyone I did 228km/h over the 1km just over a month ago and was very happy :)

The K04 on a 2lt FSI is a lot bigger than that of the K04 used on the older 1.8T motors.
The K04 on the 2lt FSI motor can be almost directly compared to a GT2860 . Not quite as much topend but also spools slightly quicker.

Nice pull man. Are you FSI or TSI. I have stage 2 TSI and going ko4 in 4 months. Is it an OEM ko4 or big turbo?

something wrong with your car if at stage 2 plus k04 or stage 3 ko4 conversion you cant overtake a z4m
