"you are gods" this passage refers to people acting in the function of god, ie as judges, and it rebukes evil and false judges.

and in another passage it says "you are gods BUT YOU WILL DIE LIKE MEN"

this man has taken scripure out of context, and he uses the deadness of "religious services" which is real, to justify the total blasphemy of claiming to be a god.

he will pay a TERRIBLE price for his word twisting. NO WAY is this man seatied in the heavenly places

@fdavid65 ... But what makes this difficult is really, IMHO, the false idea that the church and the kingdom are the same thing. They're not. And the kingdom is not singularly what we have called "heaven." Even last night my dad was asking me, 'If your dominion theology is wrong, why didn't Jesus lead an army against Rome?' What he fails to realize is that the kingdom is being restored over time. I recommend the book called "The Reduction of Christianity" by Gary DeMar and Peter Leithart.

@fdavid65 ...and so it seems to me, that since Christ appointed unto His elect a dominion/kingdom (Luke 22:29), and since it says in Revelation 5:10 that this election/conferring of a rulership takes place upon the earth... then he is not wrong in making that statement. As long as he does not begin to take this in the direction of New Age (basically kill Yahweh and make our own commandments, statutes, and judgments), I don't think he is in error...
