CKST Tower Demolition

CKST (TEAM 1040) is owned by CHUM Radio Vancouver (CTVglobemedia) and recently constructed a new transmitter site in Delta, B.C. This video is shot at the old site, about 1km away.

This site was slated for demolition, but due to recently discovered structural problems, it had to be done sooner than anticipated.

I shot this with my Nikon D90, a trial by fire first time at doing anything like this. The first few shots were too tight on a cheap tripod, so I opted for wider shots for the last three, which is where the sounds of these towers falling down really kick in.
