No comment for over a year, hmm, guess I better say something then! Very nice, I love the graphics, very smooth. Also, the Matrix code is an awesome effect! Again nice video, 5/5.

That is for Windows machines only. Saving a batch file is a shortcut to a MS-DOS command. Ubuntu, the OS here, is completely UNIX based, therefor that would not work on a Unix machine. But yes, it is a very cool effect on Windows.

or you can do it in flash and director and utilized in a short movie of your choice.

Just type this code into note pad:
@echo off
:place1
color 02
echo %random%%random%%random%%rando
m%%random%%random%%random%%ran dom%%random%%random%%random%%r andom%%random%%random%%random% %random%%random%%random% % goto place1
and then save to desktop as: extition.bat and thats that!

Dudes it will work with a ATi Radeon, but not with the official ATi drivers. ATi is poo with Linux. Use the (slower) open-source drivers if you want Beryl support.
da system is ubuntu, he have beryl, put "beryl" on google, XDDD
fok, my card ATI is not suported by beryl

That's why you need XGL.
