might i say whats the point of spending so much money on a late model and then racing at track small enough for like go karts?

Looks like the only choice was to run the low line and look for moisture down on the apron. If you look high on the track, you can see that they'd driven the cushion all the way to the wall.
Gotta be hard to run like that when your instict would be telling you you're running too slow.

You know they say you need to slow down to go faster, this video is a good example of that. He kept the throttle control very conservative and kept a reasonable pace. Obviously, quick enough to win the heat.
Dirt racing is really about consistent laps and it is way more difficult than one may think. Some guys turn a killer time for a lap or two and then push over the edge and loose all their momentum. Steady beats overdriving every time.

yeah i agree the track looked VERY! slick. i would have lost it in the first turn lol
