Yeah, that is called the Sentinel, I think. In my opinion, this should already be in place. It is particularly helpful for motorcycles being caught by 4wheeled vehicles.

When did they start running blue led/strobes on the race vehicles? I know about the whole yellow reward facing light, but is the blue a new requirement now as well? Cool footage too, thanks a bunch!

The blue blinking LEDs were mandated by SNORE for this night race only, for Class 11 stock bugs and Trophy Lites, I believe. They did work -- pretty bright in the dark.
