A small tribute to one of the best songs of all time. Written around 1983, but released in 1984 on the legendary Ample Destruction album: "The track 'The Crucifix' was actually going to be on the first e.p., but there was no suitable acoustic guitar available so the band left the song for 'Ample Destruction'."

I really love the guitar sound on this album, check out the great leads on this track! And check out the rest of their albums! Jag Panzer is very alive, allways amazing listeners and reinventing themselves with each next album. They still are getting better, and a new album is on the way!

The churches are Tintern abbey, Cleeve abbey and Kirkstall abbey.

This is the old recording of the song.

  • @blackeningpurehatred

If we talk about band quality: Slipknot sucks. Shitty rap/distorted horrible music.

If we talk about music genre: Slipknot are not Heavy Metal artists, but pop/rap/electronic music with guitars. That's why are they famous, 'cause they are not Heavy Metal music.

  • One of the best metal albums ever released, too bad it is long out of print!

  • @Thr4shMET4L

Only people with Down Syndrome listen to System of a Down

  • @gravefllame I am 100% with you about that bastard. This band is probably the most underrated heavy metal band ever. Sorry about whatever I said, keep fucking supporting metal!
