because they cant die or be hurt so what would be the point

and what did the monsters do in the other silent hill games they hugged you, humped you and sucked your dick till you die not much difference and the characters look fine because harrys voice in the first one didnt match his appearance at all and the otherworld is much more intiminating as frozen over than just rusty but thats my opinion

It doesn't scare them. It blinds them. The creatures in this game have been very rarely known to see any source of light equivelant to a sunny day.

The last thing Pyramid Head needs is to be shoved into a new game where he's not relevant just so a bunch of obsessed, craved, nutjobs can drool all over him.

Looks as scary as Fatal Frame.
I kind of like the idea of No-Combat-Just-run, but I do hope that they give you SOMETHING to fight them off with. Just something simple, like a bat or something, because lets face it, if you were in this situation and you saw an axe sitting in the corner of a room, you'd grab it.
