why cant everyone be treated equal. why does it only have to do with the black community? this is really offencive to some people. shouldent everyone be under the same roof? shouldent we all be equal?

With all the noise (including my contributions to the babel), let's not forget that this is a place of worship where people have found redemption. Nuff said from me.

And Dr. Who teaches atheism (by its exclusion of God). Does that make you an atheist if you watch Dr. Who? The social gospel is part of the Gospel. I will take the risk of being judgemental and say that if you don't try to follow the teachings of Jesus as outlined in the Gospels (which includes the social gospel), you shouldn't call youself a Christian.

Let me ask you this as Rev. Wright has said there are paths to heaven! What Gospel is he teaching from Jesus said I am the way the truth and the light. I will take the risk of being judgemental and say what kind of Pastor says G-Dam America, That sounded real Christ like to me. A social gospel can not be void of the truth, which sounds like it coming from your place of worship. I hope your new pastor is not like the Rev. Wright, Have you ever compared the bible to what is being taught at Trinty?

Who: Yes, every week. And just so you know, Rev Wright, realizing that his illustration had perhaps gone too far, asked the congregations forgiveness ON THE SPOT AT THE END OF THE SERMON. Didn't see THAT on FOX did you?

You're entitled to your opinion, but don't judge what you don't understand. Yes, Jesus is the way the truth and the life; but as a biblical scholar Rev Wright sometimes enlightens the congregation on customs of other faiths and cultures.

If in doubt--just PRAY!

Please review the comments of posters like some of the ones below with the colorful names, and compare them with the ministry and resume of this distinguished, well-respected pastor, biblical scholar, author, and humanitarian. You can see how qualified they are to judge/digest his words, motives and accomplishments. I'd wager they probably couldn't bear 1/10th the scrutiny they attempt to subject this ministry to, and certainly lack the integrity and calibre of character references & support.
