@thrcman These kind of mixers are called SUMMING mixers; they suppose to do only a mixing job, or a parallel mixing-mastering job, not to "fuel" a mic. They mentioned an X-RACK, if preamp is what you need. Mixing inside the computer is a pretty shitty job, so SUMMING mixers come very handy, and let's just say that your projects will sound far better thanks to them.

Don't see phantom power on there?

I am buying this. What an awesome summing mixer.
-
you guys are all clueless this thing sounds great as a summing mixer. SSL pres?..meh.... SSL EQ's? Ouch my ears Hurt. But summing? Hell yeahs.
-
Who gives a shit about 'preamp flavour'? As long as a mixer AT LEAST has pres, it becomes useful.
-
who needs their pres?! That's not SSL's strength.

SSL Channel EQ and headroom. Mix outside of your computer, hear the amazing difference!

Its a line level mixer, and I'm pretty sure when most mainstream urban music gets mixed they don't use the SSL pres, they go line in from Pro Tools.
