Tengai Makyou ALSO predates Naruto by TEN. YEARS. Tengai Makyou: Ziria was released for PC Engine CD in 1989. Naruto's manga was first published 1999. I'm SICK of hearing people thinking that EVERYTHING is ripping off of bloody Naruto, I've heard people say RANMA ripped off Naruto. -_-

ジライアの声ってアキラの金田だよな

@zemsta Yeah, both Naruto and this game borrow heavily from japanese cultural cliches, not from each other. The source material is older than both of them.

Is this a sequel to Far East of Eden or something?
-
Wow! It DOES have some direct interaction clips!
Yeah, I am TOTALLY sold on this. Finding a copy is gonna be hard and I KNOW it's gonna cost alot, but I definately want it. I'm enjoying Battle Heat way too much and this being the only similar game, I definately want it.
Say, know any good places to get instructions on Battle Heat and this? There's afew parts of Battle Heat I'm still confused on, like the blue flashy parts (combos?) and what the VI Button does.

"The kid with the metal shit on his forehead that's probably hell on metal detectors is from a neo geo game klol"
No, they're all originally from Tengai Makyou... =P This is, after all, a Tengai Makyou game. That character was the star of the first game, in fact. Just look up "Tengai Makyou" on Hardcore Gamers or Wikipedia.

Clearly you know nothing about what Tengai Makyou is. Tengai Makyou was never an anime series, much less a "kiddie anime". It was and still is one of the best selling game series of all time in Japan.

Ziria's name is phonetically spelled JI-RA-I-A, or jee-rie-ah.

ok, i might be the only one but the names and the char traits like the girls insane strength are too close to Naruto to be a mistake. Really seems that the manga / anime borrowed alot from this, the dude even summons a boss frog.

Yeah, but Tengai Makyou purposely plays up a lot of japanese cliche's, since it's supposed to all be based on an (imaginary) American historian's misguided views of Japaneses history.
