I did a quick google search and found out that he passed away from cancer.

I am so very sorry to hear that Dr. Joe has passed away. I hope that his videoclips are left up for posterity! I loved watching him do that "sideways neck adjustment" fascinating to watch and relaxing to listen to as well! How sad!!!
