Bridport town hall sculpted out of clay is fired as a kiln using gas over 24 hours. It is covered here in insulation fabric to allow the heat to build inside then at peak temperature the gas is turned off, you can hear the bell of the nearby town hall that the building is a asculpture of ring its 9.30. The building is uncovered to reveal the sculpture buildingh at glowing 1200 degrees.

So that's how ya do it eh? That must be 1200 centigrade. Isn't that ceramic blanket neat stuff? Neat building too!
