@rnrchix, I know that your use of the word "warrior" is meant hyperbolically in your post but the Raramuri are not warriors -- on the contrary, they are very peaceful people. The use of the word warrior needs to be eliminated from the English language to denote some abstract virtue worth living up to. It was acts of war that pushed these people into the Copper Canyon in the first place -- they could not fight (or preferred not to) and so they ran away.
