@RodmrOlympia Its a shame they only give you two small brackets to mount the whole thing. These come with the Base set but should come with all of them. The lights behind the tv look great what is not so great is that you will probably need two sets to do it .Not so great if you live fifty miles away from IKEA and realise you cant complete the job.

@poogiboy if you look in the video we used some lenths of wood secured to the wall in 2 places using plaster board screws, we did this to help better spread the wait of the unit along the lengh of the wall simply becouse we didn't trust the two brackets all that much ether, our tv is kinda heavy but it seems pretty secure.

I just purchased the whole wall panel setup. It only comes with 2 tiny brackets. Is that all you used to hold up the whole panel and tv? The brackets look very weak.
What a joke no way is it that simple.I noticed you skipped any film regarding wiring.Feeding them all thorough to the sky,dvd tec.All of it down the sides as well .And what happens if you tv has the plug already fixed to it /how do you feed it through with the tv attached to the wall ? .Its like a Chinese puzzle.

@Gookbuster1 The TV has a long enough cable to put the wire and plug through the hole in the centre panel with the TV on the floor! You simply pull the unit away from the wall slightly at the bottom and thread it through the back and sides you do the same with the hdmi cables etc.! We actually just replaced the TV that you see in the video and it took less than 10 minuets to get it all setup! Very easy!

I'm debating this exact set up to mount a 50" plasma but the small brackets comment worries me I would be going into brick as opposed to stud wall but still it's a much bigger tv do you think it would hold it? Also rear mounted LEDs on the tv shining on the gloss surface of wall mount would this look good in reality? Cheers great vid

@RodmrOlympia I don't know to be honest... I attached mine into a plaster board wall so it all depends on the fixings you need to use and if you feel its going to be 100% safe, 50" plasmas don't come cheap! I don't think the LEDs would look too good reflecting on the glass surface, it is very reflective as it is glass and not gloss!
Hope this helps.

Hey, thanks for posting. How did you attach the frame/unit to the wall?
ncdthree 1 year ago
@ncdthree You get little brackets to attach it to the wall with instructions on how to do it.
