SO cool to listen to one of my favorite bands play at a local place (well local to me anyways) Maine is a beautiful place and I hear they sounded a little more country/folkish whenever they played among the Pines

The video was FOB right using a Panasonic 3230 C-mount tube camera w/a Tokina 100-300mm lense into a JVC S20U portable HIfi stereo VCR. The audio is from Sennheiser 441s into the portable.This is not a soundboard..

the sound quality on this is amazing, full and rich, was it really from a video camera in 1988, or is it from a seperate recording?

oh no, that aint no video camera aud. However I'm always impressed at the recordings made by video camera mics. Often better than many sources from the pit or upfront...
The SBD was mixed into this vid.
