  • WoW only supports 3 cores, what are you doing playing it in a 8 core 16 thread benchmark?

  • @HHBones you can config more cpu's in wow config

  • With Logic Pro, what audio interface are you using? What 3rd party Audio Unit instrument and effects are used in the project for this youtube video? Which Midi controller are you using?

  • M-Audio Audiophile USB, Logic Delays & Reverb's, Native Instruments Battery 3, Absynth, FM7

  • You have 8 CORES and 16 THREADS, not 16 CORES....

  • i know 8 core 16 "virtual cores" hyperthreading

  • They used Mac Pros is movies like GI Joe and Harry Potter 6. Almost any movie with real special effects -- done on Mac Pros

  • No my friend, don't get confused.....if there is someone who doesn't know much about computer testing that is the person who labeled the single thread cinebench test "slow". There isn't much to argue here: MacPros are very expensive, but also incredibly fast, and if you talk about the 2009 models (nehalem) i mean REALLY REALLY super fast! You can do a flawless job on audio even with cheaper apple machines, such as iMac or MacBook Pros, but if you really want monstrous velocity go for the MacPro!

  • @Jakeybabe100 Not if you factor in the fact that they last for years. Many many many years longer than the average pc. No make that just about every pc. I should know. I've owned and used both.

  • testing 8 core on WoW, i would say wow :D you are "advanced"

  • funny thing is....i could prolly build a better machine for about 3/4's the price.....i mean,it may not have 2 chips, but it would perform just as well:{

    Mac is a bit of a rip off:/

  • Wow i was thinking of getting the quad but looking at logic on your vid has inspired me to save up some more.... it will be mine oh yes it shall be mine lol thanks for the up bro

  • i have a hactosh i7 overclocked to 3.5ghz geekbench 10455 for just 2500 dls

  • @gumberly Snow Leopard is entirly a 64-bit system,he take full advantage of hyper-threading.

  • i have a question???

    does osx take advantage of hyper-threading? or does only linux?

  • no PC can do what? have 32 gb of Ram? run 4 HDDs in Raid? use a SSD as cache? I dont know what kind of PC info you are getting, but you are wrong. Just Remember, any Hardware there is for a Mac, there is 10x more on the PC side.
