MINH NGUYEN rotary engine has been Just on center
New rotary engine has some of solutions with sprockets of the Driving force gear has circle profile. Then we can resolve problems (of WANKEL rotary engine) easier.
We can resolve the problems easier.

  • Looks like a lot more moving parts than a wankel.

  • The MINH NGUYEN engine produces 16 strokes (4 power strokes per rotor rotation) per revolution of the rotor

    The WANKEL engine produces 12 strokes (3 power strokes per rotor rotation) per revolution of the rotor.

  • We can see:

    Power of MINH NGUYEN engine is produced by tangent forces.

    Power of WANKEL engine is not produced by tangent forces.

  • This engine seems to complex to be workable. CAD models are nice, but until I see a real world version of this engine, I'm gonna say the wankle is superior. :)

  • My design is a 16" rotary with a 8" crank and 1x4inch piston.

    having a 4800 ft lb of torque at 2000 rpm's, that's 1827.86hp........
