Tens of thousands of you saw this in 1969. You have wondered why it disappeared, as did I. It's a wonderful story, and some of the best television ever made. It's time that it was seen again. Merry Christmas.

  • I first saw this in 1969 when I was six and then just a couple of times after that in the early 1970s. Now I know why I remembered it--it was a damn good drama. This taught sad but sweet lessons about life without being preachy. And it cut across all lines and hit everyone who saw this right smack in their humanity. You've single-handedly saved this gem from oblivion. Thank you so much for posting this.

  • Bless you and much obliged, JTClarion. Merry Xmas 2010
