Wait for it....

Roscoes Chicken and Waffles. Of course it wasn't anything like the one in this movie, but I thought it was sweet. This song popped into my head during that segment.

Only recently discovered that the girl in the center, Brie Howard, is the drummer in the Alexander O'Neal "Criticize" video. Wish there was more of her to watch!

@TroggDoor Also, I know this is the same one because I recognize the other side of the street from the shots through the window. I was trying for a long time to find the previous address on google maps but no such luck. This is either the Roscoe's formerly at 5910 Jefferson, Sepulveda, Sawtelle, or something like that. Culver City for sure though.

I remember this place. On Sepulveda in Culver City, CA if I remember correctly.  Or possibly Overland. One of the streets that ran North-South through Culver. If I remember correclty I think it burned down like a decade ago or possibly longer. I moved from L.A. to S.F. about 4 years ago, so I don;t know what the current status of the place is.

I love this scene. Of course the Video Aces guys got paid...in chicken. Incidentally, I didn't know Roscoe's was real. I thought it was a fictional place.
