@Flybytweek Got to love it, not only are you some film hipster douche, you are a dumb racist cunt too. You went out and bought some Fisher Price 'My First Darkroom kit' and you think your some authority on what is considered photography and what isn't. Why don't you go back in your darkroom and work on another of your technical masterpieces. Do my research on what? Digital photographers use photoshop? You deserve some type of investigative journalist award or something.

@battousaikicks Damn dude calm down. no im not a film hipster you fucking kike. These images are far past dodging and burning...Hello, High pass..and all kinds of BS..why are you so damn defensive? E.g Jill greenberg...a simple shot but dressed up in photoshop..she even admits it..Man you need to do your research.

@Flybytweek Yes, people go to far with photoshop. What does that have to do with digital not being real photography? You dodge and burn with chemicals and I dodge and burn in photoshop? Whats the difference? Like I said, bloody film hipster. You spend a lot of time in the dark room, good for you, but it doesn't make you a good photographer. You look at his images and you scream its all photoshop, it just show how little you know about photography and lighting.

@Flybytweek Own* a digital camera..my bad

@battousaikicks Haha oh yeah so that taking out what you dont want in a photograph and tweaking the image out of the norm in Photoshop is photography, sounds like graphic design and good editing skill, Im not sure that makes someone a photographer. I won a digital camera and I Love it..I promise, but sometimes people go to far. I do also spend a lot of time in a darkroom printing and developing my own film...it makes me appreciate the ease of digital.

You are an idiot.
Film hipsters...

Screw digital...thats not photography...thats nowhere near photography...Print in a darkroom and spend hours upon hours getting it right...thats photography

leaves me cold non of the images related to reality and non of the children were relaxed. too controlled. so thumbs down for me.

The Afghan Girl (1984), taken with a semi-professional Nikon FM2 with simple post processing is the real deal. The above collection is so fake and staged.

I have now watched this 10 times it gets better everytime
Nice concept spoilt by over manipulation.The end product is just artificial.
