Westwood housing development makes Tony Flaig cross

Thanet Council has given the go ahead for more than 1,000 new homes to be built at Westwood, in the centre of the island.

The area is already blighted by traffic, and little concession has been made to ease this in the new plans. Further building, including a new hotel, casino and cinema, and a new college, will only add to the motorised misery and mayhem.
