  • Thank you, to all!

To glendamster: the 80's arrived with lots of strange music-instruments, never seen before, That was based on the arrival of all that electronic stuff. First electrical amplified guitars, then the electric hammond organs and so on.

Have you ever seen the video "down the lazy river" from Robbie Robertson? That strange guitar-like instrument tha guitarist played ? Never seen it again, and never knewn the name of it.

    Greetings to all of you

  • @edjfred The instrument you're talking about in that Robbie Robertson video is called an Omnichord, and it was played by Daniel Lanois, the producer. It's manufactured by Suzuki Instruments; the current version is called the Q-Chord.

  • @Bunduzet

Geez. I was 10 years old then. I arrived to Secunda from Poland, in 1982. 2 Years later, I moved to Joburg. I now live in LOndon for the last 6 years or so.

    Yea. Great song. So catchy.

  • That's pure proto-chillwave!

  • Video was recorded ocasionaly from spanish TV over 10 years ago, on VHS-videocassette, that conditioned the quality, sorry. But i'm happy to have gotten it. Maybe sombody in GB have better copy, where Sipho put his hat.

  • Isn't there a decent quality version of this song on YouTube?
