These are great, but they are really quite soft. I can't turn anything up anymore, and it's still difficult to hear him.. But I'm trying because they are great! Thanks :)

Hi Mariannie2, I think the Adaptative: Humoral=TH2 (instead of TH1)
-
Innate: Cell Mediated = NK cells, macrophages, IL-12, IFN gamma, alpha, beta; IL-1, IL-6, TNF-alpha, beta.
InnateL Humoral = Complement, PMNs (neutrophils).
Adaptive: CMI =TH1, IL-2, IFN gamma, macrophages, CTLs, Killing of intracell microbes, tumors, allograft.
Adaptive: Humoral = TH1, IL-4, IL-5, IL-13 B and plasma cells, antibody killing of extracellular microbes.

Just want to let you know that there is no problem with the sound system with my ear phones.
Thank you for the lectures. Thank you for helping me navigate through topics I have been trying to put off or avoid for a while.

yes that is correct, I've also checked other sources , The Immune System 2nd ed by Peter Parham

I believe its actually neutrohils. Lymphocytes are actually part of the adaptive immunity.
-
I would double check this statement. Lymphocytes are adaptive immune response. Neutrophils are INNATE immune response
-
Hi, I double checked some GenPath textbooks (including Robbins), and they describe the phagocytic cells (macrophages and neutrophils) and NK cells, as the main components of the innate immunity. The lymphocytes, however, are the main component of the adquired immunity, but there is no reference about their rol in the innate immunity. Is that right?
Hi Doc, thank you very much for your lectures! I am a veterinary pathologist from Spain, and these videos are very helpful for us too. Just a question about the innate immunity slide: are the lymphocytes or neutrophils the cells involved? Thanks again for sharing this valuable material!
