For the too young to remember crowd, the word "SNAFU" is Army slang for Situation Normal All F&%$#@ Up. Mel Blanc did the voice for the gullible private. These films were shown in Army camps as a means of instruction. There were posters all over America warning about giving out TMI and spreading rumors. Loose Lips Sink Ships.
