I absolutely LOVE Nicolette Larson's music! I have been listening to it since I was two and I still listen to it:). Her music is so touching, and soothing. The Irish lullaby is my favorite, since my dad and his side of the family are from Ireland. My grandpa passed away last week and this was his favorite lullaby:), although he never got to see it live.(I'm definitely playing it at his funeral) Hopefully my grandpa and Nicolette Larson will meet in Heaven, and he will finally get to hear that s

I love this song, I've listened to it since I was three :)

@721rem - I don't think anyone answered your question about Nicolette. She died (December 1997) as a result of complications from cerebral edema triggered by liver failure. A friend said Larson had been depressed and her fatal seizure was related to her chronic use of Valium, which had caused her liver to fail. I've been aware of her name and voice for years, being a Neil Young fan, but I just learned a little bit more about her after discovering her solo work. Lovely lovely voice!

Oh, Nic. You can still bring me to tears. xoxo.Know how important this lullaby cd was to you, and am glad to see it is a staple for the generation that has come since you left us here..nothing like you and Linda, nothin.

i think that i've found the total opposite to this music... the cure "pornography" lp (1982) is potentially distressing for babes... hopefully there's music like Nicolette who helps us to lighten our heavy souls
What a lovely video to watch with a lovely song. We do so miss hearing this talented lady. She didn't stick around long enough.

@blueagate Thank you so much for your nice comment. I agree about Nicolette -- can't help feeling a bit sad when I listen to her music sometimes, knowing she passed away so young.
