  • These lovely ladies are so under rated... especially in the USA. They memorized tons of lyrics and dance moves and spirit behind each song. I hope to see them big in the USA more than they already are in France. Come on America! Support HALCALI!!!

  • WOuld very much like to know it in English.... :(

Q: We wish you much success in future! We thank you for having responded to our interview.

Y: [in French] Thank you very much!

H: [in French] Have a nice day!

  • any French artists?

    Y: Daft Punk!

Q: What are your plans for the future?

Y: If we have concert opportunities, we come immediately! But concerning the rest of Europe, we don't know yet.

H: We're waiting for invitations too!

Q: What could we wish you now?

Y: We sing often live in Japan and maybe one day in Europe too. After the album release, we'll go on a nationwide tour.

    Q: The last comment?

Y: We're delighted to be in France and at this convention; please invite us for future live

  • them to encourage them to go to your shows or buy your discs?

Y: As France and Japan are far from eachother, we find it great that our songs are listened. If we can one day play lives or release albums in France or in Europe, it will be fine! We don't know how the things will be going but perhaps we'll be able to do something.

Q: And the starting point of it all would be this convention here?

BOTH: Yes, we'd like to come back and we hope it's not the last time we come here!

    Q: Do you know

  • years. What was your most memorable time?

H: We've got so many memories that we can't choose!

Y: Since we're in France, we can't stop taking pictures, but it's the same when we're in Tokyo because we meet lots of people, having great times.

H: And when we get back to Tokyo, we'll tell how it was in France, it will remain unforgettable!

Q: Since a few years, japanese music becomes quite widespread in France but the French live audience is more into Visual Kei or J-Rock. What would you tell

  • guests like Polysics, Ramrider or Your Song Is Good. How did the collaborations take place? What will be the musical orientation of your album?

    Y: There's no precise concept.

H: We wanted artists we love to partcipate and each of them gives different ideas. The album is well variegated.

Q: Will there be new remixes on it?

Y: We already recorded a remixed album before this and we worked again with those remixers to make original songs. They may be remixed later.

Q: Halcali exists since a few

  • experience for us because it's not like the songs we've been making. With this we could cross a "new frontier" and it gave us many other opportunities.

Q: Would you like to experience it once again?

Y: We recorded a song for the anime Powerpuff Girls. We love this anime and it was unforgettable.

H: We liked it very much and it enabled us to get several opportunities too. If we could go on like this, it will be great.

Q: Your new album 'Cyborg Oretachi' comes out on 18th of july featuring

  • your videos. Have you ever thought about doing fashion design?

BOTH: Maybe we'll do it one day, we never thought of it! You've just given us the idea!

    Q: So we'll make a partnership maybe!

    BOTH: Thanks!

Q: Tip Taps Tip came out at the end of 2005 as theme song for Eureka 7, then other tracks came tying up with some anime. How were you to do this theme song?

Y: In fact, the director and the producer of Eureca 7 got in touch with us.

Q: What remains from this experience?

    Y: It was a new
