This was for the Annual bi-state test tornado warning. I relocated after hearing some odd clipping on the video camera. Didn't have much time i guess for relocation, as the attack signal started when i was half way to the new point. The siren activated for the attack test. The surrounding 2001's could be heard. Apologies for the wind clipping, was using my younger brothers camera at the time. Had no idea where the microphone was at.

  • Scary. Why is it only single toned? Bad tone generator perhaps?

  • It was replaced with the new sound card of a FS Modulator type as far as I am aware.

  • I love this vid. It is really creepy to hear that EOWS 612. This is one of my favorite sirens. The Modulator sound card works well with the chill factor

  • Yeah, sounds like a single-tone Modulator

  • Ah okay. It's certianly scarier than a dual-tone one.

  • Cool vid!
