Maréchal Pétain was condemned to death at war's end but it never happened. The bastard lived to age 95 but will always be looked upon as a traitor deluxe. His Vichy government was the greatest insult imaginable to the Republic of France and I cannot believe that any Frenchman today would do anything on his grave but to shit on it.
