@smurfboywv Lev:18:22....God flat out says that a man is "NOT" to lie with a man as with a woman....it says nothing about rape here or sex in the temple....man is "NOT" to have sex with man, nor a woman with a woman, He says it causes "Confusion" for them.

People don't care about God or chuch because they are thinking for themselves instead of listening to fairy tales. If I'm causing people to think for themselves, then so be it.
Where's your source? Iron chariots? The Bible clearly says men (and women by default) can't have sex with people of the same gender period. And I have my sources.

@Mectrixctic The bible condemns the act of male rape, sex in temple, and male prostitution, not homosexuality. The word homosexual wasn't created until the 1800 and at the same time christians wrote it into the Bible. People like you are why no one cares about God or the church.

Erm, no. It does condemn homosexuality. The real debate is whether that law is universal (like murder and stealing) or just cultural (like eating pork and shellfish)
Homosexuality is listed with many other sexual sins like adultery and bestiality. Jesus condemned adultery, so it can be inferred that it is just as bad.
So while Homosexuality MIGHT just be cultural, you still need to provide evidence. IMO, gay people should just be non-christians (and muslim).

The Bible does not condemn homosexuals. It condems in Leviticus the act of rape, as in sodom and gomorrah, raping of men by eachother, having sex with prostitutes in temples, and worshiping idols. God did not destroy sodom and gomorrah because of homosexuals, it was because of the vile acts of the citizens.

As a gay man who raised Christian, rejected it as an adult and became agnostic/atheist and then had a heart attack and a near death experience, I feel need to comment. Jesus (if he did really exist) has been distorted by religion. One of the few truths in the Bible is the Golden Rule, which Jesus taught. That rule is found in almost all major religions. Truth cannot be ambiguous. We are put in this world with our differences for a reason, and we must show love and compassion to all.
